I've been profiling women DJ's for a long time. Most (I should say all) of my information has come from Myspace, but I have run across a site totally dedicated to women DJ's called DJette. It is basically like DJlist(we'll do a post on this site eventually), but all women. The site has free mixes to download, a streaming music service, and great list of DJ's from around the world. I'm going to start using this site for more DJ's to profile. It is as simple as that.

I was told about this blog a while ago, it is Les Concerts à emporter (yes it is french). It is a pretty cool concept of impromptu music videos taped anywhere. On the street walking, in a cab, it doesn't matter, if you can fit a camrea and a band in a spot they are taping a music video. Check out the great set by R.E.M.
